In order to enhance scientific cooperation between Japan and China, the JST Beijing Office
Collects and disseminates information on science and technology in China. Information collected on China is disseminated to Japan and the world through:・ The website “Daily Watcher” operated by the Center for Research and Development Strategy (CRDS)
・ Research reports on science and technology policy trends overseas, published by CRDS
, etc.
Supports JST activities in China
The Beijing Office supports JST activities such as the Strategic International Cooperative Program in China, by collecting information and acting as a liaison to counterpart organizations.
Enhancing the presence of the science and technology of Japan Utilizing its network with major science and technology organizations, the Beijing Office carries out regional activities for which it is uniquely suited, and contributes to enhancing the presence of science and technology of Japan in China.
